Luminary Group CV Tips

Writing a good CV is essential to making sure your application stands out from the rest. A well-crafted CV should be concise and clearly highlight your qualifications, education, experience, skills, and accomplishments in a way that entices the hiring manager to invite you for an interview.

When deciding what to include on your CV, consider only including information that is relevant to the job you are applying for. This could include details such as professional certifications, awards or honors received, research projects undertaken, any publications authored or co-authored, and any technical skills acquired. Additionally, make sure you include links to any online portfolios or social media profiles where applicable.

When writing your CV, keep sentences short and direct. Start each bullet point with an action verb and provide specific details about what you accomplished in each role or project without overloading the reader with unnecessary detail. Use keywords related to the job description but don’t add too much buzzwords; employers may be put off if they believe you are just ‘padding’ your CV. Additionally, remember that it’s important to proofread your CV multiple times to make sure there are no spelling or grammar errors as this can give a bad impression of carelessness even if everything else in your resume looks great! Finally, ensure that all of your information is up-to-date before submitting it; this includes contact information (such as email address) as well as any recent education or training achievements or experiences relevant to the job you are applying for.
